SEOUL, KOREA - An exclusive center for small and medium-sized ICT and SW companies to advance into foreign markets will be launched.
The Ministry of Future, Creation and Science is going to open a center for supporting ICT and SW SMEs to enter overseas markets at KOTRA on June 3. And the Ministry is also planning to sign an agreement with six organizations to back them up.
The center is expected to streamline all scattered organizational systems and functions that were made to help ICT and SW firms enter overseas markets. Thanks to the center, ICT and SW firms would have more chances of winning foreign contracts and moving into overseas markets.
The center is planning to provide information on foreign markets, consulting services and other customized services needed for ICT and SW SMEs to advance into overseas markets. The center will be made up of KOTRA’s IT Business group and technical experts and external advisors.
The Future Ministry is also going to sign a business agreement with six relevant organizations including Korea Internet & Security Agency, National Information Society Agency, National IT Industry Promotion Agency, Korea Information Technology Service Industry Association, and Korea Software Industry Association as well as Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
The Ministry has a plan to form a business committee with the six organizations to support ICT and SW SMEs by providing them with information on foreign markets, resolving their concerns and utilizing overseas business network.
ICT·SW 해외진출 전담센터 가동
정보통신기술(ICT)과 소프트웨어(SW) 중소기업의 해외 진출을 지원하는 전담센터가 가동된다.
미래창조과학부는 3일 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA)에서 `ICT·SW중소기업 수출지원 센터(이하 센터)`를 개소한다. 이에 앞서 ICT·SW중소기업 해외진출 지원을 위해 6개 기관과 업무협약도 체결한다.
센터는 그 동안 관련 기관별로 분산된 ICT·SW 중소기업의 해외진출 지원 기능을 사실상 일원화할 것으로 기대된다. 해외 ICT·SW 프로젝트 수주는 물론 수출시장 개발을 위한 공조체제가 한층 강화될 전망이다.
센터는 ICT·SW중소기업의 해외진출을 위한 시장정보 제공, 수출·창업을 위한 전문 컨설팅 지원 등 맞춤형서비스를 제공할 계획이다. 센터는 코트라 IT 사업단과 전문위원, 외부자문단으로 구성된다.
센터에는 패키지SW, IT서비스, 정보통신방송기기 등 하드웨어(HW) 분야에서 풍부한 경험을 보유한 전문가가 상주하고 수출마케팅, 비즈니스협상, 회계, 계약, 지적재산권 등 분야별 비상근 자문위원과 연계해 중소기업의 해외진출 애로사항 해결을 위한 본격적인 지원이 이루어질 예정이다.
미래부는 코트라를 비롯해 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA), 한국정보화진흥원(NIA), 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA), 한국정보기술서비스산업협회(ITSA), 한국소프트웨어산업협회(KOSA) 등 6개 기관의 업무협약도 체결한다.
미래부는 6개 기관과 ICT·SW중소기업의 해외진출 지원을 위한 업무협의회를 구성·운영하고, 각 기관의 분야별 해외시장 정보제공, 애로사항 해결, 해외조직망을 활용한 중소기업 해외진출과 창업 등을 지원할 방침이다.
