MASTEL, The Indonesian Infocom Society, in collaboration with PT ECMI Services as the event manager, has earmarked 2007 to start its milestone of ICT missions for Indonesia. With dedication and determination to turn visions into realities and clear all obstacles with solutions, the organizing team driving forth ICT2007 Indonesia to attain unparalleled success receives its shoulder pat of support from both the governmental and private sectors. The 3-Day event will fill the premises of Jakarta Convention Center, from 3 to 5 May 2007, with a world-class exhibition spanning the broad spectrum of Telematika, which will include broadcasting and multimedia technology, beside the better known information and communication profiles. Shaping wellness and mapping the routes of ICT in Indonesia will be the subjects at the concurrently held Industry Summit and Technology Conference.
The ICT2007 Indonesia steering committee, which is chaired by the Honorable Pak Sofyan Djalil, Minister for Communications and Information, comprises of members from all significant arms of ICT in the country. Besides the government authorities, such as DEPKOMINFO and the Department of Industry, contributing to the steering committee are also industry movers and market leaders like Alcatel-Lucent, Bakrie, Cisco, Ericsson, Excelcomindo, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Indosat, Microsoft, Nokia, Qualcomm, Siemens and Telkom. Together and in unison, the committee members are committed to connect-up the country, urban or rural both far and near, to present information and communication challenges with e-solutions. ICT2007 Indonesia in May next year shall kick-start a whole host of ICT initiatives to propel Indonesia into the e-Nation circumference.
