On December 18, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE) has announced that it has decided to appointed KTNET as a service provider for u-Trade Hub. According to the u- Trade Promotion Act, the service provider for u-Trade Hub refers to the private enterprise in charge of stable and efficient operation of e-Trade Hub. Accordingly, based on the 2nd year schedule in the u- Trade business plan, the KTNET has to provide its service starting next year. The 2nd year schedule in the u-Trade business plan has to build a u-Trade portal where all traders will be able to do their jobs in a single window. This is the core part of the 3-year e-Trade business plan.
Different from the existing service, KTNET is to provide a completely new service, which has the function to automatically notify the traders what job to do next. This new system has the function to automatically generate the documents to be prepared based on the previous step. The 3rd year schedule in the business plan includes the establishment of a Comprehensive Marketing Information System, in which all the trade information of related organizations is readily available. It also includes the e-B/L distribution management system.
