The Fun Ski and Snow Festival is running now from December 10, 2006, to March 7, 2007 at the Yongpyeong and Muju ski resorts. It is said to be some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in Asia among Korea's picturesque winter landscape. The events planned at the resorts and on the slopes will be more than enough to keep you and your family entertained whenever you visit. Ski instruction will be available for all levels, and there will also be a day of ski and snowboarding competitions for beginners and experts. Participants will have a chance to win one of the many great prizes.
This isn't just an ordinary ski trip. Visitors can discover Korea at the Fun Ski and Snow Festival. Traditional music and dance, along with powerful modern performances, will show everyone a fantastic and unexpected side of Korea. The program for these events is 4 days and 3 nights. On arrival, participants will be given a skiing lesson, or if they already know how to ski they will get free skiing time. In the evening, festivities will begin with a gala dinner. The second day also starts with free skiing, or skiing lessons. There is a welcome party scheduled for the second day as well, and in the evening skiiers can enjoy a free dinner. On the third day the resorts plan to host a skiing and snowboarding competition. In the evening they will hand out prizes at a complimentary dinner party. On the fourth day, skiiers will have one last chance to use the slopes, and can leave at any time.
There will be seven sessions of this event at the Yongpyeong Resort. They are scheduled to begin on December 10 and 17, January 7 and 21, February 4 and 25, and March 2. There are six sessions scheduled at Muju Resort. They will begin on December 17, January 14 and 28, Yongpyeong Ski Resort February 7 and 25, and March 4.
