SEOUL, KOREA - On June 5, Renault Samsung released a 2014 version of SM3 that features an addition of new trim and an improvement in marketability. Without any price increase, Renault Samsung applied a one-touch triple-turn signal as a basic option for all models.
For the models that are higher than the SE Plus grade, Renault Samsung added the soft function that allows drivers to control the air-conditioner to reach the temperature they set at a slow pace.
The number of new trims is six with prices ranging from 15.38 million won to 19.78 million won. The price of newly-added XE trim is 18 million won. The XE trim has an XE-dedicated 17-inch black two-tone alloy wheels. Renault Samsung said that the XE trim targets the consumers in the early 30s who used to make economic and rational purchases.
