SEOUL, KOREA - Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors announced on June 11 that their four models received the Customer Satisfaction Awards in the 2013 VSA published by a U.S. automotive consulting firm Auto Pacific.

The VSA survey was conducted with 52,000 new car owners in the United States. The survey assessed the degree of customer satisfaction for overall quality of the new cars, in the areas of performance, quality, safety, commercial value, and convenience.
Auto Pacific evaluated 294 models of 33 auto brands and selected award-winners in 22 areas—11 passenger car and 11 RV and pickup categories.
By model, Genesis topped in the Aspirational Luxury Car area, while Veloster ranked No. 1 in the Sport Car area. Genesis, in particular, grabbed the No. 1 spot in the Aspirational Luxury Car category for four years (2009-2011, and 2013) since it received the award first in 2009.
K5 ranked No. 1 in Mid-Size Car area and Sportage R in the Compact Crossover SUV area.
