SEOUL, KOREA - DRAM prices marked a slight increase in one month. According to semiconductor industry sources on June 16, DRAM Exchange, a semiconductor e-commerce site, set the fixed transaction price of DDR3 2-Gb 256Mx8 1333MHz at $1.55 for the first half of the month of June.
This figure is up 1.31 percent from $1.53 a month ago and the highest since the first half of the month of August 2012 when the fixed transaction price stood at $1.31. At present, DRAM prices took an upturn after hitting the bottom of $0.81 in November and rebounded by 94 percent thereafter.
DRAM Exchange predicted that DRAM prices would grow by about 5 percent this year, with sales revenue likely to register a positive year-on-year growth of about 30 percent.
