SEOUL, KOREA – Samsung Electronics’ smart TV “Evolution Kit” has received rave reviews from UK IT magazine Trusted Review. According to Samsung Electronics on Wednesday, Trusted Reviews picked Samsung Electronics' Evolution Kit as a must-have item, saying that the Evolution Kit would be an important factor for some customers to choose their TVs.
Trusted Reviews said, “We felt rather suspicious about when we first heard of them last year. We now consider Samsung’s Evolution Kits to be one of the most significant innovations since it surprisingly evolves dual-core TVs into quad core ones and upgrades the smart hub into the latest version once the Smart Evolution Kit is simply plugged into the back of compatible 2012 Smart TVs.”
The renowned review site in the UK also noted that Samsung is the only TV brand that can cope with Ultra HD (UHD) standards that have yet to be set.

영국 IT 매체, 삼성 스마트TV `에볼루션 키트` 호평
삼성전자 스마트TV `에볼루션 키트`가 영국 IT 전문지 `트러스티드 리뷰`로부터 극찬을 받았다.
19일 삼성전자에 따르면 트러스티드 리뷰는 최근호에서 “에볼루션 키트는 소비자들이 TV를 구매하는 데 중요한 요소가 될 것”이라고 호평했다. 잡지는 2012년형 TV의 듀얼코어 중앙처리장치(CPU)를 쿼드코어로 진화시키는 것은 물론 스마트 허브를 2013년형으로 교체하는 기술에 대해서도 극찬했다. 특히 정해지지 않은 초고선명(UHD) 표준에 대응할 수 있는 유일한 TV라고 평하기도 했다. 트러스티드 리뷰는 지난해 에볼루션 키트 출시 계획이 발표됐을 당시에는 제품에 대해 회의적인 반응이었다.
이효건 삼성전자 영상디스플레이사업부 전무는 “에볼루션 키트 가치와 성능에 대해 좋은 평가를 내린 것은 삼성 TV만의 가치를 인정한 것”이라고 말했다.
