SEOUL, KOREA – South Korean oil stove maker Paseco said on Monday that it inked a contract with Dana General Trading (LLC) to supply KRW 11 billion worth of oil stoves to the Middle East.
According to Paseco, this deal, up 64% from Pasco’s USD 5.8 million deal with Dana General Trading (LLC) last year, will be equal to approximately 10.5% of its 2012 sales and the contract expires on November 30, this year Recently, Paseco has also sold KRW 12.5 billion worth of oil stoves to the US’s GHP Group.
The CEO of Paseco said, “Continued growth in our exports to Libya, Saudi Arabia, etc. is expected to jack up our 2013 exports to the Middle East by 40% year-on-year.

파세코, 110억원 규모 중동 석유난로 공급계약 체결
파세코(대표 유일한)는 24일 중동의 다나 트레이딩과 한화 약 110억원 규모의 석유스토브 공급 계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
피세코에 따르면 이번 계약은 전년도 자사 매출액의 약 10.5%에 해당하며, 계약기간은 오는 11월 30일까지다. 회사 관계자는 다나 트레이딩사와의 계약에 대해 “작년 계약했던 580만불에 비해 약 64% 증가한 액수”라며 “매년 꾸준히 제품을 수출해오고 있는 회사로, 그간 공급된 제품에 대한 기술력 및 신뢰성을 기반으로 올해 계약 물량을 늘리게 됐다”고 설명했다. 파세코는 최근 미국 GHP 그룹에 125억원 규모의 석유 스토브를 판매한 바 있다.
유일한 파세코 대표는 “리비아와 사우디 등 중동 지역으로 수출 계약 및 협의가 꾸준히 이어져 올해 중동 지역 수출이 전년 대비 약 40% 성장할 것으로 기대된다”고 전했다.
