SecretNewCo was founded in February 2013 by Brian Reynolds, who worked as a chief designer at Zynga, another social game service provider based in San Francisco. Its CEO Brian Reynolds was named as one of the 26 “Game Gods” selected by a game magazine PC Gamer.
Under terms of the agreement, Nexon acquired a stake in SecretNewCo and secured the right for worldwide sales of SecretNewCo’s strategic mobile social game “SecretNewGame” that is now under development.
SecretNewGame is scheduled to be released in 2014. With the Stone Age as the background period of the game, the game allows players to develop their own civilization, to attack and defend themselves from enemies, and to cooperate with other players.
