SEOUL, KOREA- NHN Hangame released a smartphone social card game “Magimon” through Android iOS and T Store on July 25. Magimon, developed jointly by NHN Japan and Dango, is a smartphone trading card game that enjoys a huge popularity in Japan.
After securing the rights to service Magimon in Korea, NHN Hangame localized the game in Hangul for domestic service. The game features more than 300 kinds of small and cute characters that resemble famous characters in Japanese comic books.
Users can secure and cultivate a monster that has one of five properties—water, fire, thunder, wind, and earth. The card battle game also boasts more than 100 battle techniques and adopts a funny system that summons monsters through a pot and merges them through a microwave oven. The game can be downloaded for free through Google Play and Apple App Store from July 25.
