AXA Direct Selected as Best Budget Auto Insurance Company

SEOUL, KOREA- In a survey on four budget direct car insurance companies, AXA Direct was selected as the best service provider in terms of reliability, financial soundness, and consumer friendliness.The Korea Finance Consumer Federation announced on July 30 its survey results "2013 Best Direct Auto Insurance Companies" based on an analysis of four direct auto insurance companies, including AXA, The-K (Educar), Hyundai Hicar, and Ergo Daum Direct.

Following AXA Direct, The-K ranked No. 2, which was rated best in reliability and consumer friendliness. The No. 3 position went to Hyundai Hicar, followed by Ergo Daum Direct.

According to the consumer advocacy, the evaluation was based on the weight of 40 percent for reliability, 30 percent for consumer friendliness, 20 percent for financial soundness, and 10 percent for profitability. As the manner of consumer complaint handling and degree of service satisfaction were hard to quantify, the non-profit organization said, these were not included in the assessment.
