SEOUL, KOREA - The concept of the ‘global village’ has created a new value in the convergence of Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT). This has changed not only our social structures but also the way we live our life in a more future-oriented manner. The Park Geun-hye’s administration’s creative economy aims to strengthen the nation’s global competitiveness and produce a higher added value based on the convergence of ICT and related industries.
In an effort to prepare for Korea’s ICT development, the conference on Information Communication Facility 2013 will present MPEG-UD, IT convergence, wire communications, and research results on IT application in control system. In the special guest lectures, the topics of, “Construction IT and Smart Grid,” “Application of ICT convergence technologies to the civil engineering and construction sector,” and “Plans for ICT collaboration between Ethiopia and South Korea” will be presented.
The conference on Information Communication Facility 2013 will be held from August 22 to 23 at the Highone Hotel in Jeonseon, Gangwon-do. 2013 한국정보통신설비학술대회 하이원호텔에서 열려
SEOUL, KOREA - 지구촌은 ICT를 기반 융합으로 새로운 가치가 창출되고 있다. 이로 인해 삶의 형태는 물론 사회구조까지 미래 지향적으로 변화되고 있다. 박근혜 정부의 창조경제 요체는 ICT 기술을 인접산업에 접목하여 부가가치와 경쟁력을 높이는 것이다.최근 삼성전자나 현대자동차가 세계적으로 선전하고 있고, 싸이의 강남 스타일 열풍이 세계를 흔들었고, 박인비 선수가 63년만에 LPGA 메이저 3연승의 위업을 달성했다. 한국의 ICT도 기존의 관성에 힘을 더해 도약의 기틀을 마련해야 할 때이다. 이에 발맞추어 한국정보통신설비 학회에서는 MPEG-UD, IT 융합기술, 유선통신설비, 제어시스템 IT 응용 등의 학문적, 이론적 연구성과뿐만 아니라 산업정보통신 세션에서는 다양한 실무경험이 발표될 예정이며, 정책 및 창조경제 세션도 마련되어 있다. 특별초청강연에는 “건설IT와 스마트그리드”, “토목/건축 분야에서의 ICT융합 기술의 활용”, “에티오피아와 한국의 ICT 협력방안” 등이 발표될 예정이다.
