SEOUL, KOREA- Estsoft revealed on August 21 that it posted consolidated sales of 9.21 billion won and net profit of 110 million won in the second quarter of this year on a K-IFRS basis. Year on year, sales grew by 16.9 percent. Despite a market slump, Estsoft remained profitable for two straight quarters starting from the first quarter.

A Company official said, “Our existing businesses, including software and games, generated stable sales, while our new portal business marked a robust year-on-year growth of 392 percent.”

In particular, its portal zum.com is expected to generate better results in the second half of this year as it is scheduled to launch various updates, including the opening of mobile pages. Estsoft also plans to launch an official service of its MMORPG game “HeroesGo” that it has developed through its subsidiary in North America in the second half of this year.
