SEOUL, KOREA- Black Yak, an outdoor clothing brand, plans to open stores in three European countries within next month.A Black Yak official said, “After a year of R&D effort to develop new products based on different physical conditions between Koreans and Europeans, we will complete the development of new product lines by this fall. We will open our store locations in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria in October 2013.”

Black Yak also unveiled its ambition to launch into the entire part of Europe next year. Black Yak said it expects the domestic outdoor clothing market to continue to grow, adding that the inherent difference between formal suits, casual clothing, and outdoor apparels is increasingly blurring on a gradual basis.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its founding, Black Yak plans to establish the “Black Yak Kang Tae-Seon Sharing Foundation” and the Scholarship Foundation.
