Choi Hyun-man, vice chairman of the group said in the signing ceremony in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, "Mirae Asset Financial Group is a specialist in emerging markets. We believe we can create synergies with Wuxi Industry Development Group and the Wuxi municipal government that are investing intensely in the areas of renewable energy and information technology."
Huang Qin, Wuxi's executive deputy mayor, said, "Once the Wuxi-Seoul flight route is open soon, Korean companies will find it easier to do business in our city. We hope Mirae Asset could actively participate in industrial and infrastructure development projects we are pursuing."
