ILSAN, KOREA - The Korea Industry Fair 2013, organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, opened on October 15 at KINTEX in Ilsan in Gyonggi province.

The Korea Industry Fair is an integrated industrial exhibition that is created by integrating a variety of machinery exhibitions, including those related to general machinery, tool, welding, cutting, metal, and autoparts.
This year marks the second anniversary of the exhibition which was launched first in 2011.
This year’s Korea Industry Fair attracted 1,812 companies from 39 countries worldwide.
The Korea Association of Machinery Industry, the Korea Tools Industry Cooperative, the Korea Welding Industry Cooperative, Korea Trade Fairs and Ain Global are joining the Korea Industry Fair as co-organizers. The Korea Industry Fair 2013 will run till October 19.
The main trends for this year’s exhibitions at the Korea Industry Fair are hybrid and smart, indicating that the trends of today’s mobile phones and automobiles are spilling over into the machinery industry.
