SEOUL, KOREA- Ahead of the releasing of Apple iPhone 5S and 5C in the Korean market, their pre-order sales, which begun on October 18, ended in a great success, being sold out in just 7-13 minutes.

KT and SK Telecom announced that they received pre-orders for 5,000 units of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C through their online sites Olleh.com and T World Direct, respectively. They were sold out in just 7 minutes and 13 minutes, respectively.

Although the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C that were assigned for online pre-orders, were sold out, KT and SK Telecom plan to continue to receive offline pre-orders through their agency locations nationwide.

The retail price of iPhone 5S will be 814,000 won for 1-GB model, the same as the one for existing iPhone 5, 946,000 won for 32-GB model, and 1,078,000 won for 64-GB model. The iPhone 5C 16-GB model will be available at a price of 704,000 won.
