SEOUL, KOREA - Samsung Electronics’ microwave oven earned good acclaims from Europe’s consumer magazines. The Seoul-based company announced on October 21 that its oven model ranked No. 1 in an assessment of microwave ovens in the October issue of Belgium and Italian consumer magazines.
Belgium’s consumer magazine Test Aankoop revealed that Samsung’s grill microwave oven (model name GE82V) has superior performance in defrosting, grill cooking, and usability, recommending it as a buy item. Another Samsung microwave oven (MG23F301), a 23-liter model, was also selected as a buy item.
With about 350,000 subscribers, Test Aankoop is a non-commercial consumer magazine published by Belgium’s consumer union.
Altroconsumo, an Italian consumer magazine published by Italy’s largest consumer organization, also picked Samsung’s microwave oven as the best product. Altroconsumo evaluates the performance of electric/electronic items and consumer goods twice a year and provides the information on its assessment to 300,000 subscribers.
