SEOUL, KOREA- Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), which operates Korea's domestic hotel chain, Benikea, concluded a business agreement with the Overseas Koreans Foundation (OKF) on October 18 to carry out mutual cooperative projects, including Benikea Hotel overseas public relations activity and a project to promote the convenience of overseas Koreans traveling to the country. The signing was held at the KTO Building. 

Under the agreement, the two organizations plan to actively carry out cooperative endeavors, including overseas promotion of the Benikea Hotel brand, discounts at Benikea Hotel accommodation for overseas Koreans considering a visit, and support for hosting of international events such as the World Korean Business Convention.

Meanwhile, KTO plans to participate in the 12th World Korean Business Convention (Oct. 29-31, 2013, Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju), which was hosted by an economic organization of overseas Koreans and organized by the Overseas Koreans Foundation, for operation of the Benikea public relations booth and the Benikea chain promotion activity for Hansang, overseas Koreans who run businesses abroad.

Shin Ok-ja, head of the Benikea Business Team, says, "I hope that cooperation with overseas Koreans will accelerate Benikea’s overseas brand and tourism fields through the pact with the OKF."
