Samwon Garden, a traditional high-end Korean food restaurant with 37 years of history, opened its first overseas restaurant location in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Samwon Garden was opened in 1976 under the name of “Samwongjeong” and has grown into one of the best-known Korean food establishments with the number of its visitors exceeding 21 million.

The new restaurant will be open on November 17 and located at the Lotte Mall Fine Dining Zone inside Lotte Shopping Avenue in Jakarta. It will present a variety of Korea’s high-end traditional dishes to Indonesian patrons.
At present, the Fine Dining Zone hosts a group of famous foreign restaurants, including “My Humble House,” a Chinese restaurant that offers contemporary Chinese cuisines.
Samwon Garden’s Jakarta restaurant will offer a variety of Korean foods, including bulgogi (traditional Korean dish of grilled beef), mulnengmyeon (buckwheat noodles in chilled broth), and galbitang (beef short ribs soup).
