With the car maker's exhibition concept called The Passion for Designology, Korea's Kia Motors is recognized for design and performance in the world car market by securing a 2,500 square meter pavilion in this 2007 Seoul Motor Show.

In addition to showcasing a total of 20 cars including 4 concept cars, five different kinds of new technology like Mosen kiosk and the Kia Tronics Mock-up, and 14 commercially available cars such as the Morning, Pride, and Carnival, Kia Motors presents the semi midsized SUV concept car KND-4 for the first time globally in order to showcase Kia's unique design.

At the same time, Kia Motors plans to beef up the car maker's image as a corporation that spearheads the most state-of-the-art technology by exhibiting HM incision miniatures, a Kia Tronics Mock-up, the CNG Engine, and the fuel cell platform within its new technology zone booth.

The car maker's KND-4 concept car is a next-generation semi middle-sized SUV. The fitted 2,200cc diesel engine and KND-4's exterior design expresses modern and dynamic outdoor SUV style very well.

By using a display screen in its steering wheel, KND-4 offers simple operation services.

Kia Motors officials said: "The KND-4 will show Kia's next-generation design direction as a concept car which will be opened to the public for the first time at home differently from concept cars that have been opened to the public so far first in overseas."

Another three concept cars will also be opened to the public through this forthcoming 2007 Seoul Motor Show. First of all the Kue is equipped with edges of SUVs and Sedans evenly by reflecting the crossover trend of the latest auto business circles as a large-sized Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV). Through this concept car, visitors will be able to watch for the future design concept Kia Motors will present in the years to come.

The Kue allows further drivers to enjoy their pleasure fully while driving with the Active Torque Transfer (ATT) system and the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) which distributes power to wheels according to different driving conditions such as on-road and offroad.

The concept car ex_cee'd also has already garnered the attention of the world auto market as Kia Motors CDO Mr. Peter Schreyer took part in its ex_cee'd styling last year.

This ex_cee'd concept car enhances the perfection degree of design and color as the challenging front features of dynamism, polished white body color, and chocolate color soft top harmonize with each other.

Another concept car pro_cee'd, which was opened to the public for the first time in the Paris Show last year, is a three door sporty hatchback concept car. This pro_cee'd aims young customers who attach importance to sporty feeling and driving feeling.

Third, Kia Motors presents through this upcoming Seoul Motor Show the Lotze Dressup vehicle, which modified greatly Lotze's exteriors with sporty concepts.

Fourthly, the Pride racing car was remodeled after the Pride 1,600cc car in accordance with auto racing tournament regulations. Last but not least, Kia Motors' 14 mass production car models to be presented during the period of the 2007 Seoul Motor Show also are characterized by the best omnidirectional security system among its class in the Lotze, a CERATO SX, a new stylish luxury sedan, large-sized graceful luxury sedan the OPIRUS and the first new compact CUV, CARENS.
