SEOUL, KOREA - Hyundai Motor released New Genesis in Korea on November 26. Hyundai Motor aims to sell more than 30,000 units per year. The price of this model is 3-6 million won higher than those of the previous model.
The retail price of the New Genesis is as follows: 46.6 million won for 3.3 Modern,52.6 million won for 3.3 Premium, 55.1 million won for 3.8 Exclusive, 61.3 million won for 3.8 Prestige, and 69.6 million won for 3.8 Finest Edition.
The New Genesis features an improvement in the strength of basic frames and safety performance, with its prices being about 3-6 million won higher than those of the previous model.
The New Genesis is mounted with a Lambda GDI engine. The Lambda 3.3-liter GDI engine has a maximum output of 282hp and a maximum torque of 35.4kg.m, with afuel efficiency of 9.4km/liter, while the Lambda 3.8 GDI engine has a maximum output of 315hp and a maximum torque of 40.5kg.m, with a fuel efficiency of9.0km/liter.
