Hyundai Motors is approaching this Seoul Motor Show with the goal of changing its brand image. The new concept that Hyundai Motors is trying to take for itself is value creation for mankind and nature. The car maker wants to lead the show with the expression of the power of future technology used in an environmentally responsible way.

The Hyundai Motors exhibition pavilion is divided into four parts -- a main exhibition hall, an environmental technology pavilion, a brand publicity pavilion and a stage. The main exhibition hall includes concept cars, new production designs, and a mass production car exhibition. The environmental technology pavilion includes all the environmentally-friendly technology that Hyundai has developed lately. The stage will be the host to many different events at the show.

The Hyundai Collection is planned as a fusion of motor show and fashion show.

The company has connected with the Seoul Collection, the largest scale fashion show in Korea. It has also coordinated with the Special Day flower seeds sharing campaign and the Green Concert organization in order to create a new type of car exhibition.

Hyundai Motor is exhibiting three concept cars at the show including the HND-3, HCD-10 and HED-4. It is also exhibiting new model cars, the FD and TQ, and thirteen cars currently in production like the RV according to officials.

The HND-3 is shown for the first time to the public at this forthcoming 2007 Seoul Motor Show. The third concept car developed at Hyundai Namyang laboratory, the HND-3 is a complex small-sized coupe in which passenger and coupe's advantages are combined, taking aim at the younger generation.

The HED-4 was already opened to the public at the Geneva Motor Show on March 2007. Developed jointly with GE Plastic, this HED-4 is a midsized CUV which uses up-to-date new plastics in its construction. By grafting Hyundai Motor Europe laboratory's design and GE Plastic's 30 newest materials, this HED-4 is not only strong and economical, but is also considerably recyclable. Moreover, by diminishing CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions and reducing fuel efficiency, this HED-4 shows the future of environmentally-friendly vehicles, Hyundai officials said.

The HCD-10, one of Hyundai Motor's concept cars, also was opened to the public for the first time at the LA Auto Show last November. This HCD-10 is also is a nextgeneration small-sized crossover model, which has grafted SUV's multipurpose function with the future-model Coupe style.

Taking aim at the young and animated generation, this HCD-10 has been developed as an economical and practical smallsized multipurpose vehicle befitting the energetic and urban younger generation.

Hyundai Motor's FD was opened to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year as a mass production model of the concept car HED-3, which was presented at the Paris Motor Show last year.

This FD takes aim at the C Segment whose scale is the largest in Europe car market. In Europe, this FD will be sold as the i30 from the third quarter this year.

Domestic consumers will be also able to see this model in a similar period. The i30, which is scheduled to be produced in Hyundai Motors' Czech factory too, is a model that will gauge Hyundai Motors' strategy success which wants to localize from design up to production in Europe as well following the United States.

The TQ, presented for the first time here at the Seoul Motor Show, will be launched with a differentiated design in comparison with existing riding vehicles at home.

Current Hyundai models including the Veracruz, Santa Fe, Tucson, TrajetXG, Grandeur, Tuscani, and Click will be displayed.
