Both countries are expected to work on active exchange and cooperation in the fields of ultrahigh Internet, e-government, information protection, and training of IT personnel. They will do this by holding IT cooperative commission between two governments, dispatching a representative group of specialists to each other, and jointly holding technical exhibitions, seminars, and symposiums.
Roh Jun-hyong visited the Central IT Office of Kuwait and exchanged extensive opinions with Ali Al Shuraidah, the General-Director of the Central IT Office regarding construction of the communication infrastructure, e-government, development of personnel and technology, support for training of human resources in Kuwait, and improvement of exchange and cooperation in the governmental and the civil level between two countries.
Through Minister Roh's visit to Kuwait, Korea and Kuwait are expected to cooperate in the overall field of informationalizaiton of the nation including the communication field.
