SEOUL, KOREA - BMW Group Korea announced on December 31 that it decided to reflect the reduction in excise tax in the car price, thereby lowering the average price of its over-2.0-liter models by 0.7 percent, effective from January 1, 2014.

 

 

The sales price will be lowered within the range from 600,000 won to 1.5 million won depending on the type of car models. The price of the M6 Gran Coupe and 760Li will be reduced by up to 1.5 million won.

A total of 33 BMW models, including popular models such as the 3 Series and 5 Series, will be subject to the reflection of the reduction in excise tax.

A BMW Group official said, “BMW has maintained a reasonable price policy, while bringing the benefit of tax reduction back to customers whenever tariff rates and excise tax are lowered.

BMW Group Korea plans to release a variety of new models in 2014, expanding the scope of option for its customers.
