MUNICH, GERMANY - In collaboration with the Digital Life Design (DLD) Conference, Augmented Reality experts at Metaiopresent an interactive and guided tour through the National Museum of Bavaria. On January 19th DLD visitors and journalists will have the chance to see live how Augmented Reality can build a bridge between historical pieces of art and the digital age.

Five exhibition pieces from different periods and artistic styles will be augmented with rich virtual information via the latest object tracking technologies from Metaio. DLD visitors will have the chance to experience Augmented Reality with mobile devices and even a pair of Google Glasses to get additional information about the art pieces on show.

In addition, together with curator Max Hollein Dr. Thomas Alt, CEO and Co-Founder of Metaio, will discuss the possibilities of integrating Augmented Reality in a museum in a panel on Tuesday, January 21st.

Over 150 speakers and 1000 attendees will touch base at #dld14.
