대 의
도를 닦을 때는,
목석같이 굳은 마음을 가져야 한다.
만일 한번 탐욕이 생기면
곧장 물욕의 세계에 들어가게 된다.
세상을 구하고 나라를 다스리고자 하면
흐르는 물과 구름 같은 취미를 가져야 한다.
만일 한번 탐욕에 물들기 시작하면
금방 위기가 찾아온다

대의
착한 사람은 몸가짐이 편안하고
잠자는 동안이나
영혼까지 온화하며,
포악한 사람은 행동이 사나운 것은 물론
목소리와 웃으며 말하는 가운데에서도
살기가 있다.

When liver gets illness,
eyes become blind.
When kidney get illness,
ears become deaf.
The illness starts from invisible parts
to change to be visible.

보이지 않는 곳에서부터 죄를 짓지 말아야 한다.
대의
간이 병들면 눈이 안보이게 되고
콩팥이 병들면 귀가 들리지 않게 된다.
병은 사람이 볼 수 없는 곳에서부터 생겨
반드시 볼 수 있는 곳으로 나타난다.
그러므로 밝은 곳에서
죄지은 것을 보이지 않으려면
보이지 않는 곳에서부터
죄를 짓지 말아야한다.
