SEOUL, KOREA - E-Land Group plans to halt its UK outdoor brand Berghaus business. The group announced on February 18 that it is now taking steps to discontinue its Berghaus business after its licensing contract with Berghaus, an affiliate of the UK’s brand management company Pentland Group, expired at the end of last year.
E-Land has engaged in the Berghaus business since January 2008. It plans to close down about 40 Berghaus stores that it is running now, within the first half of this year.
