SEOUL, KOREA - Korea Airlines has spruced up its lounge at Los Angeles International Airport. The airliner said on March 14 that it recently reopened the lounge for prestige and first class passengers at the fifth floor of the airport's Tom Bradley International Terminal.

At the cost of about 9 billion won, the renovation work done by M. Arthur Gensler Jr. & Associates, Inc., a San Francisco-based design and architecture firm, took five months.

The 1,320-square-meter lounge is 68 percent larger than before, with 305 seats from 170 previously. In addition, the lounge offers additional services such as four shower rooms and lockers for the passengers.

The picture on the wall in front of the lounge entrance features Changdeok Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, allowing passengers from all around the world to experience Korea's traditional beauty.
