Air Incheon Opens New Route Linking Incheon with Japan, Russia and China

SEOUL, KOREA - Korea’s first air cargo-only carrier Air Incheon announced on April 16 that it will open a new route linking Incheon with Japan’s Narita, Russia’s Yuzhno Sakhalinsk, and China’s Yantai.

Air Incheon plans to inaugurate regular flights at Japan’s Narita on April 21, which will be offered six times a week. In addition, the carrier will also offer regular flights to Russia’s Yuzhno Sakhalinsk fromApril 30, which will be provided three times a week. 

Air Incheon will kick-start non-regular flights to China’s Yantai on May 8 which will be offered three times a week.

Air Incheon has operated non-regular flights between Incheon and Sakhalin since last year, using two B737-400F aircraft.

A company official said, “With the inauguration of a string of new routes, we established new routes that can help solidify the position of Incheon International Airport as an air hub of Northeast Asia.”
