SEOUL, KOREA - Hankook Tire announced on April 18 that it has released two new tires for trucks and buses—AH 30 and AH36.
The AH30, a tire for large cargo and tractor trailers, is applied with zigzag 3 grooves that are best optimized for domestic terrestrial conditions, thereby featuring improvements in braking and driving performances, plus even corrosions.
By minimizing the rotational resistance, the AH30 also contributes to improving the fuel efficiency of the vehicle.
By applying the latest profile design technology, the AH30 realizes the optimization of the contact shape, thereby strengthening the safety of the vehicle even in case of long-distance driving.
The AH 36, a tire for intercity and tourist buses, reflects consumer desires for better feel of riding and handling. The AH 36, accordingly, is applied with a 4-groove pattern instead of the existing 2-groove pattern. It also realizes an optimal contact shape to minimize any variation caused by the change in load. It also achieves an improvement in durability.
