PLYMOUTH, ENGLAND - Plessey today announced that it has been named in this month's edition of Lux Magazine featuring the top 25 innovative lighting companies.

Plessey has previously announced that its Gallium Nitride (GaN) on Silicon LEDs are produced using standard high-yield automated processing in contrast with current generations of LEDs which use expensive sapphire and other exotic materials requiring non-standard semiconductor manufacturing processes.
