SEOUL, KOREA - The sales of Mercedes-Benz E220 CDI stood at 628 units in April 2014, ranking No. 1 among import cars, first this year.According to the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association, the sales of import cars reached 16,712 units in April 2014, up 6.2 percent from a month ago.
By model, E220 CDI came on top in terms of sales with 628, followed by BMW 520d with 599, Volkswagen Tiguan with 587, and BMW 520d x Drive with 502.
Following them were Volkswagen Zeta 2.0-liter TDI with 468, Lexus ES300h with 423, BMW 320d with 392, Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI with 392, Mercedes-Benz E250 CDI 4Matic with 372, Audi A6 2.0 TDI with 366, and A6 3.0 TDI Quattro with 359.
Within the top-ten ranking, Volkswagen and BMW each had three models, Mercedes-Benz and Audi each with two models.Excluding Volkswagen Zeta, the remainders were steady sellers which ranked within the top-ten ranking in cumulative sales for the January-April period of this year.
