SEOUL, KOREA - Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors announced on May 20 that they opened an online shopping mall for their auto customization brands “Tuix” and “Tuon.” “Tuix” and “Tuon” are tuning-specific brands developed to better cope with consumers’ diverse demands in automobile design and performance.
Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors launched Tuon in 2008 and Tuix in 2010, respectively. Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors established Tuix Mall (www.tuixmall.com) and Tuon Mall (www.tuonmall.com), aimed at making it easier for consumers to decorate their cars.
Tuix Mall provides a variety of tuning items for eight Hyundai Motor models, including Max Cruise, while Tuon Mall sells tuning items for five Kia Motors vehicles, including the new Soul.
Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors plan to develop their online tuning malls from a simple shopping mall toward developers of various tuning items through cooperation with domestic companies.
