SEOUL, KOREA - Samsung Electronics (manufacturing) and KB Financial Group (finance) were selected as the best places to work by university students for four consecutive years. In the categories of non-manufacturing and start-up business, Korean Air and Kakao each achieved the top spots, first in their history.

To celebrate the fourth anniversary of its foundation, the Korea Economic Daily’s bi-weekly magazine “Campus Job & Joy” conducted a survey with 1,000 college students throughout the country.

In this survey, Samsung Electronics was selected as the best place to work by 22.6 percent of the respondents, ranking No. 1 for four straight years. Following Samsung Electronics were CJ CheilJedang (11.8%), AmorePacific (10.4%), POSCO (6.5%), and Hyundai Motor (6.4%).

In the non-manufacturing sector, Korean Air came on top with 14.9 percent. Korean Air’s rank has continued to rise from No. 8 in 2011 to No. 3 in 2012 and No. 2 in 2013.
