Samwha EOCR by the Schneider Electric booth was fully mobbed by buyers from home and abroad every time this editor passed them by. Not only did its brand name value itself lure many to stop by, but also the brand new debut of its intelligent motor control unit (IMCU) anchored the feet of those who were drawn in. Samwha EOCR succeeded to top the communication technology as an additional function to previous motor control units. "Clear and easy access, and the capability to control both locally and remotely through monitor supervision are only a few strengths of our new product," said Remi Cordier, marketing director. He added, "The key here is the protection and management of the motors in accuracy. Everything from maintenance to diagnostics to prevention is allowed with our new IMCU. Ground fault protection and perimeter settings are enabled by the real time monitoring system in order to minimize fault history."
EOCR with Built-in ZCT

Samwha EOCR also presented the world's first EOCR with built-in ZCT. "We are proud to present a digital electronic motor protection relay for saving customer cost, space, and time," Cordier introduced. The compact motor protection relay is able to be applied to various panel sizes. "We also added a protection function for high ground fault current and enabled it to cover a wide range of current," Cordier added. The new digital electronic motor protection relay is most suitable for low frequency circumstances (5Hz~, inverter use).
Why Samwha EOCR
Visitors from industrial facilities and public institutions, therefore, paid much attention to nEOCR-BZT and their intelligent motor control units. The EOCR inverter multi-protection solution has also gained strong recognition in global markets as well over the years. Motor Protection Relays, Electronic Overcurrent Relays, voltage relays, phase relays, and earth fault relays have also gained global recognition as far as its quality was concerned. "Our priority concern was not making a big change to existing products. By working with a simple communication system, we improved the quality of our products in terms of protection and management, and satisfied our customers more than ever before."
Solution as Key to Future

"If Samwha EOCR has been on a rising coaster for a long time with the contribution of individual product recognitions like PLCs, inverters, contractors, touchpads, motor protection relays, and so on, we together with Schneider Electric will now find a way to package the individual products as a total solution and system. For example, we added a touchpad function to the previous monitoring screen. By continuing to converge IT and our previous products, we will continue to stay on top of the industry while promoting an environmentally friendly society," said Manger Chung Tae-kyoon of Samwha EOCR.
Remi Cordier added, "We are in the process of establishing our product identity by adding a standard green logo on a standard location of the product." Finally, he added that the company was going to unify under the Schneider Electric logo and drop the Samwha name.
