SEOUL, KOREA - Thinkware, a specialist in manufacturing of automotive navigation systems and black boxes, announced on June 18 that it will make forays into global black box markets under the brand of Thinkware Dash Cam.
Thinkware Dash Cam is an upgraded version of Thinkware’sInavi black box that is newly designed to better meet the needs of foreign consumers.
Thinkware’s overseas launch will begin from North America. It plans to start selling its products, including F550, H100, and X300, at 130 “Best Buy Future Shops” in Canada from this month.
Thinkware also plans to start the sales of its products in the United States in September through Best Buy’s 50 brick-and-mortar stores and the online mall. Best Buy is the largest specialty retailer of consumer electronics in North America.
At present, there are only two black box makers which are selling through Best Buy. Thinkware is the only Korean company which sells blacks boxes at Best Buy.
