SEOUL, KOREA - Compuware Corp., a specialist in next-generation application performance management, maintained its No. 1 spot in the global APM market for two straight years, according to market research firm Gartner.
According to Gartner’s “Analysis of Market Share: 2013 Application Performance Management” report, Compuware grabbed a market share of 12.1 percent in the global APM market last year, ranking No. 1 with its annual sales reaching more than $100 million higher than that of No. 2 player.
Compuware’s APM business has grown at a rapid pace with the sales of dynaTrace solution, which offers service monitoring and end-user experience management services, rising 93 percent per year over the past two years.
The Gartner report noted that the APM market, which grew 10.9 percent in 2012, is growing faster with its 2013 sales registering a year-to-year growth of 13.1 percent. The size of the world’s APM market is estimated at about $2.4 billion.
