
Gwangju City would like to congratulate the Korea IT Times, which is the only one and first IT-based English IT magazine in Korea, on its fifth anniversary.
The Korea IT Times has been contributing to the growth of the Korean IT industry based on high-end technology by providing various sorts of IT information to worldwide readers. Many advanced countries keep putting most of their efforts towards being the leader in the field of high-end and information technology in the 21st Century.
Gwangju is in the process of growing into a mecca of the hi-tech industy with a focus on the photonics, automotive and electronics industries. Future-oriented industries such as design, materials and components, energy and cultural content, are also very important agenda. Especially, the city aims to make a new vision in the photonics industry by holding the World Photonic EXPO 2009 and carrying out various industrial and cultural programs based on the completion of the National Asian Cultural Complex.
I wish the Korea IT Times’ readers keep giving attention to Gwangju city so that we will be able to become a first-class global city.
I expect that the Korea IT Times will get more popular and prominent as a world leading IT magazine that meets customer demand and I would like to congratulate the Korea IT Times on its anniversary one more time.
