MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIF., - Based on its recent analysis of the cloud computing market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes ProfitBricks with the 2014 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for New Product Innovation Leadership.

ProfitBricks has created a new benchmark in the cloud computing space by introducing a second generation or Cloud Computing 2.0 Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution. This solution stands out from the clutter due to its premium performance, enhanced flexibility at the lowest cost of usage, and ease of use enabling effortless cloud migration.

Apart from delivering more than twice the processing speed of its peers' IaaS solutions, ProfitBricks offers flexible plans, which help customers incur lower costs. Furthermore, ProfitBricks' minute-based billing approach enables users to pay by the minute, unlike rival solutions' hourly billing model.

The architecture team at ProfitBricks implemented InfiniBand, a high-performance network interconnect, which is capable of connecting servers at a speed of 80 gigabits per second (Gbps). This enables the creation of a zero-downtime maintenance environments and best in class server to server and server to storage network speeds.

Furthermore, ProfitBricks has been particularly attentive to customers' needs while designing its solution. The low pricing and optimum performance enable users to enjoy the power, flexibility, and limitlessness of cloud computing. It ambitiously aims to make big data projects more successful with fast storage, fast dedicated CPU cores for analytics and high performance networks to create virtual data centers in the cloud at a very low price.

While its competitors offer limited email or helpline-based support and then charge for these services, ProfitBricks provides email, phone, and online support absolutely free. The support engineers interact directly with customers to solve their problems and obtain useful feedback to improve the solution.
