All of our 12 million residents in Gyeonggi Province are joining me in congratulating the Korea IT Times on its fifth anniversary with all our hearts. And I’d also like to thank the staff of the monthly for contributing to the growth of the Korean IT industry and welfare of Korea over the last five years.
I wish and expect the Korea IT Times to play an important role in leading the Korean IT industry to open a bright future for Korea, a top-class country in the world.
Many people are suffering from the recent economic crisis. The recession has caused a lot of trouble and created a trend of mutual distrust. But as you know, the Korean people accomplished a miracle on the Han River even though we were in the ruins of war and our nation remains divided. Therefore, I believe that Korean people will be able to go forward toward a bright future by overcoming its division and discord.
The IT industry is the main actor that has led Korea to become one of the top 10 welfare countries in the world. Without a doubt, it is also going to be the leading player of Korean industries. Korea has been given such an opportunity to be a first-class nation in the future. Having this in mind, I hope Gyeonggi Province and the Korea IT Times will be permanent life-long partners working hand in hand to become main players in the Asia-Pacific era.
Once again, I congratulate the Korea IT Times on its anniversary and wish it to become a leading magazine in the Korean IT industry.
