My heartfelt congratulations to the Korea IT Times on its fifth founding anniversary!
The world is now swept up with enthusiasm about Green Growth programs. Especially, Green IT has emerged as a way to implement environmental tasks, including saving energy, set forth by various environmental regulations. The government has been working hard to achieve Green Growth while presenting national Green IT strategies such as Smart Grids as major goals to fulfill. The government hopes that there will arise a more efficient and wholesome ecosystem through the introduction of Green IT, including establishing an intelligent environmental monitoring system.
I wish the Korea IT Times will play a major role in the environmental sector, so that Korea, a global IT power, can emerge also as an environmentally-friendly power by introducing Green Technologies into various sectors of society.
I congratulate the monthly magazine on its anniversary once again.
