SEOUL, KOREA - Renault Samsung announced on September 2 that it will release new SM7 “Nova.”The Nova is a Latin word for new star. The New SM7 Nova employs the design identity that has been established starting from the QM3.

 

The new model is mounted with a dual character line-using hood, front bumper and radiator grill. A pearl grey color is newly added. The Nova also employs an 18-inch prestige alloy wheel and LED daytime driving lamp.

It is based on Nissan’s VQ (V6) engine. The VQ25 V6 engine has a maximum output of 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 24.8 kg.m.By using energy-optimized control technologies such as ESM, the Nova achieves an excellent compound fuel efficiency of 10.2 kilometers per liter.

The VQ35 V6 engine features a maximum output of 258 horsepower, a maximum torque of 33.7 kg.m and a compound fuel efficiency of 9.4 kilometers per liter.

The New SM7 Nova will come in five varieties—three VQ25 and two VQ35 varieties, with their prices ranging from 30.4 million won to 38.7 million won.
