SEOUL, KOREA - Following the launching of curved TVs and curved smartphones, Samsung Electronics is set to release a curved monitor.Samsung Electronics announced on September 17 that it will release a SD590C monitor with a 27-inch curved screen.
This monitor is applied with an ergonomically optimal curved rate, offering a pretty much immersive experience.The image quality of the SD590C monitor is certified by the UL of the United States and the TUV Rheinland of Germany, first among curved monitors in the world.
With a resolution of full HD (1920 x 1080), the SD590C monitor is applied with 178-degree wide viewing angle panel. The brightness of the screen is 350cd/m2 and a contrast ratio is 3,000:1.
With a fast response speed of 4ms, this monitor is more adequate for watching sports and playing games. The retail price is set at 469,000 won.Samsung Electronics plans to strengthen its curved monitor lineups which are optimized for multimedia contents.
