Samsung Electronics is likely to set the price of Galaxy Note 4 at 957,000 won, about 110,000 won lower than its previous model Galaxy Note 3 (1,067,000 won) and the lowest among Galaxy Note series. This move is part of its strategy to protect the big-screen market against Apple’s new iPhones.
Samsung Electronics disclosed the retail price of Galaxy Note 4 on September 18 when it launched pre-order sales through its online and offline stores, and three telecom companies.
The prices of Galaxy Note 1, 2, and 3 were 999,000 won, 1,089,000 won and 1,067,000 won, respectively.Compared to its predecessor models, Galaxy Note 4 has lower price despite the improvement of major features, including image resolution and application processor camera.Instead of lowering the retail price, Samsung Electronics will provide only one basic battery.
