SEOUL, KOREA - Nabil Sultan, Emirates Divisional Senior Vice President Cargo, said, “The slump of the global air cargo market is about to end soon. Without air cargo, it is impossible for global companies to pursue the strategy of marketing their new products simultaneously throughout the world.”

He painted a bright future ahead of the global air cargo industry, during his press meeting held at COEX in Samseong-dong in Seoul, Korea. He joined Emirates Airline in 1990 and was appointed to lead Emirates’ Cargo Division in June 2013.

He stressed, “The official border became meaningless when it comes to marketing due to the widespread trendof video sharing, the popularity of SNS and the increase in overseas direct purchasing. Cargo aircraft is the only means to cope with the businesses’ever-rising needs for logistics speed.”

Emirates Airline, founded in 1985 in Dubai, now runs a cargo transportation service SkyCargo with 13 cargo airplanes. SkyCargo transported 2.3 million tons of air cargoes last year, ranking No. 1 worldwide in terms of air cargo transportation volume.
