SEOUL, KOREA - A variety of Samsung Electronics’ industry-leading products won Japan’s Good Design Awards, which is organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, according to the company on November 5.
Samsung’s award-winning products range widely from TVs to mobile phones, wearable device, camera, printer, home electronics, and user experience.
Among the award-winners was Samsung’s crystal blue door washing machine WW9000 which has a user-centered design, enabling users to adjust the height of the drum and door handle.
The Gear Fit, a wristwatch-type wearable that keeps users connected with smartphones, has a convenient curved display.
Other award-winner products include the curved UHD TV HU9000 which has an ergonomic curved screen and a crystal black panel, the A3 multi-printer X4300 whose 10.1-inch LCD panel ensures more convenient control, and the mirrorless camera NX Mini which has a thickness of 22.5mm and a weight of 158gram.
