The two parties alsodiscussed ways to promote cooperation in the areas of the Internet of Things.AnSK Telecom official said, “The cooperation between the leading telecomoperators in Asia and Europe would contribute to the future of the ICTindustries of the two countries, as well as to the development of the globalICT industries.”
He added, “We willcontinuously promote cooperation with Telecom Italia in a variety of businessareas in the future.”
In the meantime, SKTelecom formed network consulting contracts with major telecom operators infive countries—Taiwan, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, and Mongolia. Efforts arealso underway to form additional consulting contracts in the Middle East andLatin America.
