TOKYO, JAPAN - On Thursday, October 2, 2014, transcosmos inc. held an opening ceremony for transcosmos Asia Philippines, Inc. which was established in December 2013 and launched operations in September 2014.
Many guests attended the opening ceremony, including Mr. Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino, Senator of the 16th Congress, Mr. Monchito Ibrahim, Commissioner of Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT), and Ms. Lilia De Lima, The Director General of Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and words of congratulations and speeches were presented.
Senator Aquino has commented as the following: "We whole-heartedly welcome transcomos's business operation in the Philippines, and we expect introduction of advanced technology into the business scene and creation of new employment opportunities."
